Our Shopify theme design process starts with a strategic planning session to discuss your business, your audience, your goals and your ideas. Next we'll document every element and feature on the website, creating a detailed outline of what we'll be designing.

Good web design balances style with utility and user experience. By employing a dedicated mockup stage - where we design mockups of every store page and ecommerce feature - we are able to create a custom Shopify theme that looks fabulous, is easy to use, and increases user engagement and sales.

With the design signed off we start developing your responsive Shopify theme as a prototype in our custom web design software. This allows us complete creative control over the design and technical development of your site; we are not constrained to the built-in features and funcationality of an off-the-shelf theme.

A the same time our copywriters compose website copy that is clear, compelling and engaging*.

Conversion & Launch

The penultimate step is to convert the prototype build into a fully functional Shopify theme. We implement any custom functionality and make extensive use of Shopify's editor system to make the ecommerce store easy to maintain and update.

Now it's time for browser testing, final tweaks and changes, and then launch day! After launching your new Shopify theme, we provide user training and the option of ongoing support for future updates and changes.

Since starting Creative Revolution in 2006, Ché Stevenson has been the creative force behind many successful brands, websites, and campaigns.

Ché is personally involved in delivering every project at Creative Revolution, bringing to bear varied experience in design and branding, web design and project management, digital marketing, and business management.

Additional creative specialists – photographers, copywriters, videographers, artists, illustrators, etc – are brought in as the needs of the project demand, selected from a pool of talented local creatives we know and trust.

“I often say that I'm a rare combination of art and science: with the left-brain analytical mindset of a scientist and the lateral thinking and restless creativity of an artist.”

And when reflecting on my career to date, I see that this dichotomy is at once my greatest strength and my achilles heel: I need to be stimulated in both the analytical and creative spheres, finding myself unfulfilled when I lean too far in one direction.

But when I am able to exercise both sides I can achieve great things! Which is why I am in my element when my hands are dirty: digging deep in the weeds of a project! I do my best work – and achieve the best results – when I work end-to-end on a project: planning, designing, developing, and launching brands, websites and digital campaigns.
