When Jen and Kirstie first contacted us, their short-term property management business had been forced into hibernation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Not letting that get them down, they decided to use that time to build a completely new website - with a booking function - in order to be ready for guests once restrictions were lifted.
Ranges Escapes has two very distinct target audiences, so their website needed to be simple to navigate and clear in its messaging.
The website needed to showcase their properties to potential guests and offer a booking function for their accommodation listings. It also needed to highlight the benefits of their property management service to potential owners and investors.
One of the goals of the Ranges Escapes website is to attract direct bookings. The new mobile responsive website design showcases all the available properties online, with strong hero images, clear information and a visual style that attracts and engages the audience.
Users are invited to join an email list in order to get a 10% discount, and bookings are generated via an embedded Lodgify “Book Now” button. Other benefits of signup include special offers and packages, information on regional activities and events, and notification of new properties available.
The other key function of the Ranges Escapes website is to provide information about their property management service to owners and investors in the region. The website features lead generation opportunities including an information pack download, “Book a Meeting” function and general enquiry form.
The website also includes a section for SEO keyword-rich blog posts and a feature drawing attention to Jen’s podcast, called “Hosting with Heart”. We also completed the Calendly integration, MailChimp integration, Google analytics, SEO setup review and 301 redirects - and then we were ready to launch.
Jen and Kirstie were an absolute dream to work with, and we were all thrilled with the end result. If you’re looking for a short getaway in the Macedon Ranges, check out the Ranges Escapes website.
